Strategy: what is left out
Effective board presentations: short, aligned, answering questions
Building a business case: financials, risks, strategic alignment
Delivering an incident report: what happened, optics & media, fallout
Approving an M&A transaction: strategic reasoning, analyst community, pro-forma financials
Case study: preparing a board presentation
Getting to “no objection”: how boards decide; building consensus
Board politics
Identifying roles, players, and factions
Developing consensus
