Emily Nason - Associate Dean (Undergraduate Student Affairs) & Associate Professor of Business Education in Management, HKUST Business School (BBA-MGTO 1997)

Emily Nason is the Associate Dean (Undergraduate Student Affairs) and Associate Professor of Business Education in Management at HKUST Business School. A proud BBA alumnus from HKUST, Emily joined the faculty in 2005 upon completing her PhD in Organizational Behavior and Human Resources from UCLA.  Emily is now a member of the School’s senior management and drives strategic initiatives to strengthen the School's comprehensive undergraduate education portfolio.  She oversees undergraduate recruitment and admissions, student development and career services, and the flagship Global Business program.  A passionate educator, Emily is the Founding Director of the Karen Lee Student Mentoring Center, a winner of the Franklin Prize for Teaching Excellence and selected by students multiple times as one of the "HKUST Best Ten Lecturers” and “Favorite Mentor”. 

Kanie Siu - Chief Executive Officer, Plan International Hong Kong (MBA 2002)  

Kanie Siu is the Chief Executive Officer of Plan International, an organization committed to fulfilling children’s rights and ending poverty worldwide. She is an expert fundraiser, marketer and administrator. Prior to joining Plan International, Kanie was Oxfam Hong Kong’s Director of Fundraising and Communications with the responsibilities in developing fundraising, communications and branding strategies in Greater China and Hong Kong, she helped tackling poverty issues as well as deriving fundraising and communications strategies in Hong Kong. She has over 10 years’ experience in marketing and public relations in commercial industries. With her contribution to the poverty alleviation work in developing countries and her support to the philanthropic markets, Kanie was awarded as one of the 2nd World Outstanding Young Leaders by Yazhou Zhoukan in April 2017. 

Fran Thompson - Managing Director, Pathfinder Talent Solutions (KH EMBA 2010)

Fran Thompson is the Managing Director at Pathfinder Talent Solutions. She has over 20 years’ regional experience across virtually all segments of the financial services industry. A graduate from the Kellogg-HKUST Executive MBA Program, Fran is adept at identifying and implementing successful market strategies for specific client segments and territories. She is passionate about getting the chemistry right between companies and candidates and is a firm believer that trusted talent solutions are critical to making good companies great.

Winnie Wong - CEO, Asia Insurance Company Limited (MBA 2000)  

Winnie Wong joined Asia Insurance Company Limited as CEO in September 2016.  Prior to Asia Insurance, she was the CEO of Aon Risk Solutions Hong Kong and has over 20 years’ experience in Insurance and Risk Management Consulting. Among her numerous community services, she was appointed by the HKSAR government as Council member of the Financial Services Development Council (FSDC) (2017-2019), member of the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Advisory Committee (2017-2019), member of the Steering Committee of Financial Services Branch, Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau (FSTB) on the Pilot Program to Enhance Talent Training for the Insurance Sector (2016-2017). Winnie is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner and fellow member (FCII) of the Chartered Insurance Institute (UK) and an Associate in Risk Management (ARM) of the Insurance Institute of America.
