Calling for Nominations - MBAAA Executive Committee 2018-19
Would you like to be part of a group dedicated to helping to build and enhance our MBA Alumni's experience? Think you have what it takes to drive and lead initiatives to build a stronger alumni community? If so, please consider being nominated to the MBA Alumni Association (MBAAA) Executive Committee (Exco)!
For over 20 years, the HKUST MBAAA has been helping to build a platform to connect alumni and offer professional and personal development to the alumni community. These aims are achieved through events, active communication, and teaming with various alumni, the university and corporate partners. See their Facebook for recaps of recent events here.
They are now looking for enthusiastic and energetic individuals to join the Exco team to formulate strategies to better serve our alumni needs. This is an opportunity to get involved with other alumni and drive dialogue with the MBA program's leadership. If you would like to contribute to the MBA alumni community, please consider being nominated and running for election to the Exco for 2018-19. Please see nomination application here.
Before filling in the nomination form, you may wish to understand the Association more by referring to the MBAAA constitution (here). Exco members must be alumni of the HKUST MBA/EMBA as of Jan 2018. Nominations are due by January 5, 2018 (Friday) with elections being held via electronic voting from Jan 8, 2018 (Monday) to Jan 14, 2018 (Sunday). The MBAAA Annual General Meeting will be held on Jan 24, 2018 (Wednesday) to confirm the new Exco, share our progress in 2017 with the general membership and hear alumni's suggestions for 2018; details on the AGM to be shared shortly.
