HKUST MBAAA Dragons Open Day
The HKUST MBA Alumni Association Dragon Boat Team ('MBAAA Dragons') would like to invite MBA alumni and students to their Open Day to be held on Sunday, August 28, at the HKUST Clearwater Bay Campus. This is a great chance to learn more about this sport, as well as to enjoy a great day taking in the views of the HKUST campus from the water.
The MBAAA Dragons have competed for 12 seasons at competitions across Hong Kong, including the Sun Life Stanley International Dragon Boat Championships held during the Tuen Ng festival. The team's motto is "Forty Hands, One Heart" and aims to bring together alumni across the MBA and HKUST community
Dragon Boat is a great sport for both men and women and a great way to improve both strength and endurance. No prior experiences is required, so please come to learn more about this great Hong Kong sport and tradition.
Event Itinerary (to be confirmed):
8:30 – 9:00 am - Registration, Swimming Test and Safety Briefing
9:00 - 9:30 am - Introduction to Dragon Boat (Paddling Form & Technique)
9:30 - 10:30 am - Training on the water
10:30 - 11:00 am - Cool-down
11:00 am onwards - Lunch at the Chinese Restaurant, HKUST
